The best moments in a community are often unplanned: someone asks “anyone playing tonight?” and five minutes later six people are laughing in a voice room. We built MOODS for those moments.
Why a new place?
The tools gaming squads, clubs and creator communities use have grown powerful over the years, but also crowded. Every corner of the screen wants something, and newcomers don’t know where to start. We tried the opposite: an interface that carries a lot but stays calm.
We held on to three principles:
- Community first, channels second. Every community opens on a real home page. What people are talking about, who is in voice and what event is next are visible at a glance.
- Easy on the eyes. Layered surfaces, clear hierarchy and colors that stay comfortable late at night. No needless glitter.
- Your data is yours. No ads, no tracking. Designed for KVKK, Türkiye’s data protection law; private calls are end-to-end encrypted.
What is in the first release?
- Community Home: cover image, featured channels, active voice rooms, upcoming events and new members.
- Text channels, threads and forums: replies, reactions, polls, voice messages and rich link previews.
- Voice rooms: a stage layout that shows who is talking with a green ring, screen sharing and camera.
- Profiles: personal accent color, badges, connections and a live activity card.
- Events and Discover: your community’s calendar and an easy way to find communities for you.
- Moderation tools: three-state permissions, the moderation queue, AutoMod and the audit log.
- Desktop app: for Windows and macOS, with the Ctrl K command palette and global shortcuts.
What’s next?
We’re working on mobile apps, a bot developer platform and more Community Home sections for owners. Share your ideas in the MOODS Creators community.
Create your community, invite your friends and open your first voice room. We’d love to see you there.
