Community Guidelines

Last updated:

MOODS exists so people can talk, play and make things together in a calm place. These guidelines apply in every community, in direct messages and on profiles. Community admins may add their own rules as long as they don’t conflict with these.

Respect each other

No harassment. Repeatedly bothering, humiliating or following someone who doesn’t want it, or encouraging others to pile on, is not allowed. If someone doesn’t want to talk to you, accept it.

No hate speech. Content that demeans people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age or similar traits, glorifies violence or calls for discrimination is removed.

No threats. Threatening violence against a person or group is never acceptable, even as a joke. When we see a real danger we work with the authorities.

Content

Adult content only where it belongs. Sexual content may be shared only in channels marked age-restricted; avatars, community icons and shared spaces must be suitable for everyone. Sharing intimate images without consent is strictly prohibited.

Safety of minors. Any content or contact that sexualises minors is prohibited; we remove it immediately, close the accounts involved and report it to the authorities. Attempting inappropriate relationships with people under 18 is treated the same way.

No illegal content. Trading illegal goods or services, distributing pirated content, malware and fraud are prohibited.

Self-harm. Content that encourages self-harm is removed. If you are worried about a friend, report it; we help them reach support.

Trust

No spam. Mass unsolicited messages, invite-link floods, automated accounts and fake engagement are prohibited.

No impersonation. Accounts impersonating another person, community or the MOODS team are closed. Parody accounts must say so clearly.

Private information stays private. Sharing someone’s address, phone number, ID details or private conversations without permission is prohibited.

Reporting and what happens next

Right-click a message, profile or community (long-press on touch screens) and choose Report. Reports go to the community’s moderators or our safety team; the reported person never sees who reported them.

Depending on severity we may remove content, warn, temporarily restrict or close the account. If you think a decision was wrong, appeal at hi@moods.gg.

Thank you. The people here are what make MOODS a good place.
